Stating More of the Obvious May 2011

11May11

Even if I didn’t like the BOB’s politics I would still have to love the guy for how he keeps his cool, takes his blows and in a timely matter continues to make people look stupid.   That’s what you want in a president.  Someone who his going to make you feel stupid.  Not like the other guy who made us all feel smart.

Starting to get real sick of these NFL folk.  I got a great idea.  Instead of fighting over that last billion dollars, donate it to the various disasters throughout the country and beyond.   That would go along way for the N.O. folk of which you certainly rode the media good will wave then.   Heck, donate it to infrastructure projects.  We could sure use new roads, bridges and an electrical grid more than we needed new stadiums.   Yep.  The NFL is beginning to tick me off.

Has James Dolan once again destroyed his franchise??   Hey, if half a team and 3 draft picks doesn’t buy you a championship what will right?

The rabid dog of the GOP, aka Tea Party certainly screwed the pooch in Napoleon fashion.   The GOP aggressively tried to dismantle to government at the state level and were very successful in doing so untill…..the corporate zombies of the tea party, not as experienced in the mass communications art of brainwashing so brilliantly honed by mainstream republicans and lacking all tact took their divide and conquer strategy and went ape shit starting multi front wars with notable powers.   Within six months they went after the teachers, the police, the labor unions, the gay marriage folks and managed to piss off the military by almost grinding the government to a halt with their irrational bullshit.

They basically showed themselves loud and clear to be the enemy to all these groups.   Meanwhile the rest of the GOP is red faced because no one told their hyper active hell hounds how to screw people in the ass while they’re sleeping and blame the other guy.   It’s all out now. I admire the honesty, I think that’s the most honest the rights been in a hundred years but now a large segment of the country knows the right hates them and the Tea Bagger rampage may have all but guaranteed the BOB in 2012.

Seems many are “disturbed” or “disgusted” by the heinous display made by New Yorker’s celebrating Bin Laden’s death.

Really?  Because if anyones death is going to celebrated it might fit for it to be a man who had become the symbol of intolerance and murderous intent in our over populated world.    Considering he schemed up the idea to fly airplanes full of people into what were arguably the most beloved buildings by the locals killing other locals from all walks of life.  Business men, tradesmen, police and firemen.   No it wasn’t the holocaust but it wasn’t exactly a Dutch political cartoon where thousands of people went bazerk over.   Or a stupid wedding within a symbolistic Monarchy which in the past had exploited half the world.   But sure, lets pull the morality card and rain on their parade.   Closure should be taken tactfully, gracefully with a shrug of the shoulders and a quick prayer for the deceased.   Fair enough.

Yet, you want to know what “disturbs” me?   The fact that so many are bothered by those blood thirty American taking a  moment to celebrate the death of the son of a bitch who had them living in fear for a decade. (No thanks to a fear mongering “news” media) So happy to boost their superiority complex while seem totally oblivious things worthy of being “disgusted by”

For example…literally off the top of my head…won’t edit I swear….ready??

Still buying diamonds?   They’re still bloody.

The new age of colonization of Africa by the Chinese and European Corporations.

Slaughtering of dolphins by the Japanese

Trump and Palin at any time EVER being considered viable candidates for anything involving civil service.

Lack of support to Libyan rebels.

Syrian rebels being ignored.

The world for the most part being clueless about the genocide of the Tamil Tiger civilians.

The disappearance of various penguin, frog and bird populations.

The construction of a first US bullet train being blocked by three GOP senators out of sheer spite.

Texas republicans continually redrawing the election grid of their state to favor their party.

The corruption within US higher education.

The 28th ranked US infrastructure.

How anti immigrant parties in the Netherlands and France are never talked about but Arizona is head line news.

Chinese forceful relocation of citizens.

How no one from BP had landed in jail.  How the company still has made money and how everyone is pretending that it doesn’t exist anymore.

How Bush and his cabinet avoided jail time.

The sheer existence of “birthers” or the tea baggers for that matter.

How there is no law on the books (like the one Canada has) that keeps the likes of FOX from spewing total lies 24-7 and calling it news.

Apple fries…..choped apple in a non-biodigratable bag, and everything that it represents.   Applefries!

Another superman remake, seriously?

Snookie getting paid to make appearances.

Human trafficking

How the NRA bullies the majority of the country while no one questions where Mexican drug cartels are getting their guns from.

I probably missed a lot of stuff yes, but the point being if one is getting pissed at New Yorker’s for celebrating the death of a scumbag?  You need to get a heaping shitload of perspective right quick.

Things I can’t get enough of

www.livescience.com  This site has the most interesting stuff all the time.  It’s a good place to go if your not into the Jersey Shore/Royal Wedding/Bitching about Americans/beat the topic of Bin Laden to death…thing

PediaLyte:  I have had nights out drinking and  woke up with my blood hurting and swearing I had late stage, full body cancer.  PediaLyte.

The Economist on audio file.   Interesting and allows me to feel intellectually superior over those who like to feel morally superior over others.    I listen while playing Madden on my cpu.   Yes, my generation is getting old.

Sweet potatoes:   Bake them for 20 minutes and stick them in the fridge.  Like natures candy bars and awesome for pre work outs.
