Stating a Little of the Not So Obvious May 2011

In this segment

  • Still fighting over the forsaken land.
  • Red states getting the wrath of God?
  • U.S. is number 1! oh wait, no, no we’re not.
  • Animals and children are closer to God and well foreigners, they’re not stupid either.
  • More things I can’t get enough of.

The Akkadians, Assyrians, Sumerians, Hittites, Babylonians, Egyptians, Greeks, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, English and France are all civilizations that have a greater claim to the “Holy Land” than Israelis and Palestinians do.   Sure most of them no longer exist but Palestine was never a country and the Kingdom of David didn’t even last a hundred years.  Doesn’t make it annoying when people fight and both are so completely full of shit.   Palestine = Doormat to Asia   Passed around more than a (insert developing world nation) whore.    Almost as bad as staking historical claim to Antarctica.

Is it just me, or are or these natural disasters hitting just red states?  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t wish to be callous, but I wonder what their thoughts on big government will be when they need it to rebuild their cities infrastructure  or pay for their personal injuries when they most likely aren’t covered by insurance.   Of course the poor and powerless held hostage by idgits are getting screwed the most.   Well, hopefully there may be some sort of reality being smacked into the country.  That you’re not invincible, just lucky and and the end we are in it together.

There’s this sentiment that the U.S is the best and #1 yada yada yada.   So let me point out a few things from a country that still thinks the Chrysler Building and the automobile is a big deal.

Account Balance    Rank 191  at   -561,000,000,000  #190 you ask?  Spain at -66,740,000,000

Life Expectancy 24th    Environmental Performance 39th   Students performance 33rd    Infrastructure 23rd

Gasoline prices 32nd (so stop complaining)     Health Care System  37th

We keep making more and more discoveries proving how intelligent animals and infants can be.  And again I have to ask why do we presume otherwise.    Our superiority, our thumbs, or ability to take candy from or trick into thinking we actually did throw the tennis ball?  Or does it lie in  communication.  Their failure to communicate with us.  How dare they?  Yet one would think being the higher life form that would be out job.

We fear the unknown and look down upon what we don’t understand.   We have to ask ourselves why we do that.    Is it an ego thing?   We may not be comfortable feeling ignorant? (Even though by ignoring their ignorance  many easily get along by prescribe their lives with large doses of it.) We don’t want to believe other people so different might be doing something just as well or better?  And for animals, we would have to consider having respect for the creature, because you know stupid things are undeserving of respect like ugly, fat, sick or poor things.     The ego would have to take responsibility for being the highest species among intelligent beings rather than the rabid tyrant amongst mindless, soulless meat sacks.   And for babies, well getting past the whole shitting themselves thing, and realizing that they are just lacking in experience, sucking in the world like a craze sentient super intelligent computer (like a sponge is too cliché) and within a few years might just be more reasonable than you are.

Do we not refer to foreigners that don’t speak english as “stupid” blah blah.  Damn right we do.  Probably the most used adjective followed by dirty.    Animals are stupid, foreigners are stupid, and babies just shit and eat.  OR  are we just dense and refuse to pay close enough attention.    And it drives me to ask, have you been to a foreign country for any length of time?  How would you respond to a kiddie cartoon if you never seen one before let alone a TV? (You would trip balls, that’s what you would do and most likely have random fits of laughter.)  How much time a day do you spend not as a slave to your bio chemistry and in search of fulfilling basic life processes?  (Probably not much you filthy, stupid animal.)

Thing’s I can’t get enough of:

Soba noodles, or buckwheat noodles.   Not only does it remind us of our favorite banned from television rascal, it’s basically a pasta light on carbs and with a little protein.   Tastes a bit different but took me no time to get to like it.

Aloe,  skin it, scoop it, (a cm away from skin or you’ll get the shits) toss it in a shake or swallow it down like a giant slimy pill.   It might be in my head but I can almost feel my stomach feeling good, like happy n stuff.

NPR internet radio,   no it’s not liberal, just news and *gasp*, culture!
